Gospel faces lengthy spell out – Partick Thistle Loan Watch: Week 2

Billy Owens (Bonnyrigg Rose Atheltic 3-1 EAST KILBRIDE) Right back

A difficult afternoon for Billy as he faced a well organised opposition. Run ragged on the right side of defence, Dean Hoskins found continual joy in a 3-1 defeat to Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic, who jump to the top of the Scottish Lowland League over Rangers B.

Gospel Ocholi (BENBURB N/A)

After returning to training in midweek, Gospel faces another lengthy setback after pulling his hamstring. The youngster will be out for a minimum of 3/4 weeks.

James Lyon (STENHOUSEMUIR 1-2 Elgin City) Right winger

Caused problems for the Elgin defence in the first half with his bursts of pace but Lyon couldn’t make the breakthrough and was subsequently subbed off in the 62nd minute.

Star of the week – Mason McCready (GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS 2-1 Rangers B) -Goalkeeper

The only loanee with a victory this weekend, McCready produced a strong performance against a firing Rangers B team, top of the league. The 18-year-old was called into action on several occasions, playing a massive part in the 2-1 victory.  

Mouhamed Niang (Dumbarton 1-1 ALLOA ATHLETIC) – Central Midfield

Another solid performance on Saturday in the middle of the park. Sena has impressed under Barry Ferguson gaining major plaudits and entering the SPFL team of the week, two weeks in a row.  Speaking below,  the  21-year-old discusses his time at  the club so far and his aspirations for the future.

Blair Lyons (MONTROSE 2-2 Falkirk) Left Winger

A Difficult afternoon for the winger with Falkirk in control for the majority of the first half. Lyons Failed to make an impact when in control of the ball and was substituted off in the 56th minute with the game tied at 0-0.
