STAR OF THE WEEK – Mason McCready (Broomhill FC 0-3 GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS) – Goalkeeper

Another well-earned clean sheet for the 18-year old as he continues to impress in the Scottish Lowland league. With form like this, McCready will be keeping a close eye on the race for the number one jersey at Firhill as he is certain to be one for the future.

Mouhamed Niang (ALLOA ATHLETIC 1 -3 Cove Rangers) – Central Midfield

A day to forget for Sena as he was sent packing after 25 seconds with a high and needless challenge. Niang will, no doubt, be keen to learn from this and get back to his plaudit winning performances of recent weeks.

Blair Lyons (Queens Park 1-1 MONTROSE) Left Winger

After a failure to make an impact in previous games, Stewart Petrie decided against starting Lyons on Sunday, ultimately failing to make an appearance bring a sense of familiarity, sitting on the bench at Firhill.
